In accordance with state law, MaST has adopted a new concussion policy that details the management and handling of concussions (and suspicions of concussions).  Additionally, MaST will be implementing the ImPACT test to serve as an additional tool for medical professionals to diagnose concussions and students’ return-to-play status.  Additional information about the ImPACT test can be found by click HERE.  This non-invasive test, with authorized parental consent, will be utilized for all student-athletes grades 6-12 that participate on MaST sports teams.  Please see the “Resources” section for all concussion-related documents that all parents and students are encouraged to review that detail signs, symptoms, and care of suspected concussions.
